The Rada called for the dismissal of the head of the “de-occupation” of Donbass - he does not agree that Donbass was “occupied”
The Minister for the so-called “occupied territories” and internally displaced persons, Vadim Chernysh, should be removed from his post because he does not agree with the term “occupation” as applied to the situation in Donbass, and deputies should initiate a bill on Russia’s responsibility for “aggression.”

This proposal was made by Oksana Syroed from Samopomich at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and committee chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“We call on all factions, especially the coalition factions, to become co-initiators of a draft law on Russia’s responsibility for aggression and the losses it caused. For us, this is the moment of truth, whether we are ready to repel Russian aggression or not. If we are so united in our rejection of Russian aggression, then the rhetoric and policy of the Minister for Occupied Territories, who does not recognize the fact of Russian occupation in eastern Ukraine together with the Deputy Minister, is incomprehensible. “We urge you to join the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on the dismissal of the Minister for Occupied Territories from his post due to the fact that his actions contradict the interests of the national security of the state of Ukraine,” she said.
Earlier, Vadim Chernysh, in an Interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda, called the term “de-occupation” manipulation and pointed out that Russia is involved in the conflict in a way other than direct occupation.
“Hiding behind the word “de-occupation” is manipulating consciousness. Because what does “de-occupation” mean and how to carry it out? No explanation from them. You can even call any territory Mars, but that doesn’t mean they will be on Mars. Because there are international documents that clearly indicate the difference between direct occupation and other methods of waging a conflict…. In eastern Ukraine, Russia is trying to show its distance from the process. Although we know that they are directly involved in this process,” he said.
