Despite the process of decommunization, books are sold on book stands on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada that highlight the activities of the leaders of the USSR from a positive perspective.

Thus, on sale you can see a book translated into Ukrainian by the Russian author Nikolai Starikov “Stalin. Let's remember together." It is worth noting that it was this book that became the cause of a scandal in March 2013, when nationalists from the VO “Svoboda” disrupted its presentation by the author in the Kiev store “Read-Gorod”.

Starikov’s book “Look for Oil” is also sold in the Rada, and next to it is “Communist Judge,” written in prison by Lvov judge Zvarych, who received a prison sentence for a bribe.

It is curious that Starikov’s book “Ukraine. Chaos and revolution – the weapon of the dollar” was included in the list of literature prohibited for import to Ukraine.
