Squabbling continues in the Rada over future ministers
Some political forces refused to provide candidates for ministerial positions in the new government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated to journalists by the people's deputy, who is called the likely head of the future Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, the party's press service reports.
“There are no quotas in the government. It was some kind of agreement, now the country does not need agreements... Now there may simply be a technocratic government, not a party, not a political one, but a technocratic one,” he said.
“I won’t say names now, but when I call representatives of other parties and say, you can submit your letter for the shortlist of normal candidates for ministers. They say: “We want you to bear responsibility, we won’t let you,” Arakhamia noted.
When asked for clarification whether he was talking about all political forces, he stated that “many political forces do this.”
“If they say we have to be 100 percent responsible, we don't want to agree to anything with them. We will bear political responsibility,” Arakhamia added.
Let us remind you that “Servant of the People” promises the name of the new prime minister on August 29.
