The Rada spoke about the government’s insidious plan to rig elections
The current Ukrainian government has developed a plan to preserve its regime through falsification and manipulation in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
Deputy from the “Opposition Bloc” Alexander Vilkul stated this during today’s session of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is already clear that the authorities are developing schemes to falsify elections. She has no other choice - Ukrainians do not hide their attitude towards her and the ruin into which she has led us. Never before in modern Ukraine has the level of disappointment with the authorities been so great. This is no longer just a crisis, but an immediate danger to the country’s statehood, which requires immediate change,” the politician said.
Vilkul also spoke about three parts of the plan to preserve “the current criminal regime to continue the inhuman social experiments that have been carried out for the last four years.”
"First. Make the process of nominating candidates, organizing and conducting elections as confusing as possible. The goal is to preserve the “buckwheat”, humiliating handouts and preserve the current system.
Second. Creation of an obedient Central Election Commission that will turn a blind eye to falsifications and abuses. And only representatives of our faction and party are not included in the new composition of the Central Election Commission.
Third point. Cut off from the elections one and a half million Ukrainian citizens who will definitely not support the current government. We are talking about internally displaced persons from Donbass and Crimea. We have developed a bill that guarantees the exercise of the voting rights of these individuals, but it has not been considered since April of the year before,” Vilkul said.
