The Rada had difficulty pushing through the program of the Goncharuk government. Kolomoisky's deputies are against
The Verkhovna Rada approved the program of government activities for the next five years proposed by the new Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the head of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, this document includes 78 goals.
At the same time, the program caused a mixed reaction in the hall. According to the deputy from European Solidarity, former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, the document is drawn up in such a way as if Ukraine “does not need to counteract aggression, does not need to restore territorial integrity, as if there is no need to ensure the preservation international support for Ukraine and the continuation of the sanctions regime against the Russian Federation.”
However, the Prime Minister hastened to assure deputies that the new Ukrainian government remains committed to cooperation with NATO and building up the armed forces, but this must be ensured from the economic side, which is why the presented program has an “economic focus.”
Representative of the “Opposition Platform - For Life” Natalya Korolevskaya also expressed outrage, noting that the work plan of the new Cabinet contains only general phrases and does not provide any financial guarantees to Ukrainian pensioners and miners, who may soon be left without work.
“We saw a treatise that “we are for everything good against everything bad.” I would like to believe, but, unfortunately, there is no reason, because when I open page 26 of the program, I read: “Future pensioners must know what needs to be done to ensure their own old age, and the state must provide sufficient information.”
Are you kidding me? Yes, you should not provide information, but you should provide today the pension that people have earned for themselves. Today you must protect the Pension Fund from bankruptcy. Today you must mobilize all resources so that the government program is for the people in our country...
This is not a program of promises, it is a program of fulfilling promises already made. What are you telling us? You are reducing subsidy payments in the budget.
You tell us about energy independence. But at the same time, the mockery of the miners continues. We have 33 state-owned mines left, 8 are no longer working, next year at this rate there will be 5 state-owned mines, the miners' wages are three months in arrears. And it’s the same in every direction,” the people’s deputy summed up.
Nevertheless, parliament approved the government program. However, it is noteworthy that the document was voted on with the minimum number of parliamentary votes required. – 225 deputies from Servant of the People and 5 non-factional people’s deputies voted “For”. Moreover, the Servant of the People faction includes 254 deputies. This means that 25 people’s deputies from “SN”, who were oriented towards the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky and had previously criticized the program for being declarative, did not vote for the program of the Goncharuk government. Also, the Kolomoisky-oriented deputy group “For the Future”, consisting of 23 majoritarians, did not vote for the program. The opposition – “OPZZH”, “Batkivshina”, “Golos” and Poroshenko’s “EU” - did not vote for the program either.
Thank you!
