There is a scandal in the Rada: Lyashko demanded an apology to the cows
The leader of the Radical Party, Oleg Lyashko, reacted sharply to the call of Popular Front deputy Andrei Pomazanov to stop engaging in populism.
Another incident occurred during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let’s stop journalistic speeches from this podium. We remember about cows, about all sorts of crap, but we don’t remember that our state should live a normal, normal life, without corruption, without manifestations of corruption. There must be cows, but this is in no way connected with corruption. Therefore, let’s talk about the fight against corruption, and not about what we call journalistic speeches,” said Andrei Pomazanov, simultaneously waving off Oleg Lyashko who approached the podium.
Having taken the floor, the leader of the Radical Party threatened the deputy to “break off his horns” and called for an apology to the offended Ukrainian cows.
“One deputy from the pro-government coalition just allowed himself a disrespectful remark from this rostrum that they talk a lot about cows and all sorts of other crap. I want to tell this deputy from the government - you, parasite, don’t laugh, otherwise we will break off your horns. Apologize to the Ukrainian cows that feed the Ukrainian peasants. Thanks to the Ukrainian cows, which you destroyed at the roots, people are not able to feed their children. They bring in palm oil, they bring in fresh water, they poison the people. And Ukrainian peasants cannot earn a living, because instead of raising peasants’ salaries, pensions, and giving them the opportunity to pay utilities for gas, you are destroying cows, piglets, the social sphere in the village, and you want to sell the land to please transnational corporations and latifundia. Ukrainian cows did not please you because you keep accounts in offshore companies, because you connect your future with foreign countries. You have never been to the village, you don’t know how people live and what problems they have,” said Oleg Lyashko.
At the same time, the “radical” expressed his wishes that the Ukrainian government treat cows with more respect.
“Fewer pigs in power and more piglets in the village! And so that there are fewer people in parliament and in Ukraine who disrespect Ukrainian cows, Ukrainian peasants and the Ukrainian village, with which the future of the country is connected. Give less to judges and prosecutors, more to workers and peasants in salaries and pensions,” Lyashko summed up.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Oleg Lyashko staged a role-playing game with a helmet behind the podium of the Verkhovna Rada.
