The Minsk agreements contradict the national interests of Ukraine and this must be explained to Western partners.

People's Deputy of Ukraine Andrey Ilyenko (VO "Svoboda") stated this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our national interest is to protect our country, restore territorial integrity, and preserve statehood. If we are talking about the Minsk agreements, the Normandy format and so on, is this the path that will give Ukraine what we talked about? According to Svoboda, obviously not. Because an amnesty for terrorists, the introduction of actual federalization and reintegration without deseparatization, without returning real control over these territories without the possibility of them voting in elections, and so on, is not stopping the war, it is moving the war to new territories. This also needs to be explained to Western partners,” Ilyenko said.
Let us note that the Minsk agreements were approved by the UN as a resolution in the UN Security Council, which makes them mandatory for implementation by countries that are members of the organization.
