The Ukrainian economy is losing entire sectors while the authorities are silent about the EU tightening the screws on Ukrainian producers. According to him, Ukraine is losing billions of dollars due to the government’s excessive focus on the West.
“The European Union introduces duties on our metallurgical products, displaces our jobs from the EU market, Ukrainian metallurgists remain without work - everyone is silent. You buy three billion dollars worth of imported coal, depriving our miners of work - everyone is silent. You import imported agricultural rubbish, depriving the villagers of work - everyone is silent. How long can you remain silent?” Lyashko was indignant.
