The Rada demands the resignation of the Zee government
The Ukrainian parliament must dismiss the incompetent government and stop the anti-people reforms carried out by Vladimir Zelensky and his team.
One of the leaders of the Opposition Platform “For Life” faction, Yuriy Boyko, stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our parliament, within its competence, must make several decisions in order to support civil society. First of all, we must stop the coronavirus in the economy and dismiss the government on Wednesday, because everyone understands that it cannot cope with the economic situation in the country or generally solve the problems that the country faces.
We must stop the so-called second stage of medical reform. Because in fact this means the final destruction of domestic medicine. If we allow the closure of tuberculosis dispensaries, psychoneurological hospitals, hospitals in general, then this will be a disaster in the country,” Boyko said.
The colleague was also supported by the deputy from European Solidarity Taras Batenko. In his opinion, an incompetent government led Ukraine to economic collapse.
“As you know, every month we see a decline in industrial production in the country. We missed several tens of billions of revenues to the Ukrainian budget. Today we must say what will happen tomorrow with the macroeconomic forecast, and the government differs in its indicators - the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy.
We cannot continue to observe the incompetence and unprofessionalism of the government, which today cannot correctly respond to the challenges that the country faces in the context of the impending global crisis.
I believe we must say that today's government requires a reset. Due to the drop in production, we must immediately consider the issue of dismissing the government, and raise a serious question with future ministers about how they are going to get out of the economic collapse,” the parliamentarian urged.
