The Rada will take on Russian spies
The Verkhovna Rada wants to ban not only Russian men, but also women from entering Ukraine.
The deputy head of the Popular Front faction in parliament, Andrei Teteruk, stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Russian women are just as successful spies as men, which is why Ukraine should generally introduce a visa regime with the Russian Federation.
“We are in favor of introducing a visa regime with the Russian Federation. In our opinion, this will significantly strengthen the security situation in our country. Over the past years, we have witnessed how women who spied for the Russian Federation were detained in the United States - these are Anna Chapman and Maria Butina. They successfully carried out their activities, and I do not see the point in introducing restrictions exclusively for men. We need to introduce a visa regime and solve this problem once and for all,” Teteruk said.
Previously in Ukraine entry denied into the country for male citizens of the Russian Federation aged 16 to 60 years. In the Russian Federation statedthat the doors should always be open to Ukrainian citizens wishing to leave this territory.
