The Rada finally registered a resolution on Avakov’s resignation
The Verkhovna Rada registered two draft resolutions on the removal of Arsen Avakov from fulfilling the powers of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The author of draft resolution No. 7250 “On the removal of Arsen Avakov from exercising the powers of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” is MP from Svoboda Yuriy Levchenko.
Another draft resolution No. 7252 “On the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a demand to remove the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov from his duties during the NABU investigation into the case of the purchase of backpacks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during 2014-2015” was registered by the people’s deputy from the BPP and the leader Social Democratic Party Sergei Kaplin.
Currently, there are no explanatory notes for both documents in the system on the BP website.
Earlier, people's deputy Yuriy Levchenko noted that the Verkhovna Rada refused to register the draft resolution on the removal of Avakov.
