The Rada shouted that Ukrainian soldiers would have nowhere to return
People's deputies must, casting aside fear, come out of the political trenches and finally call the enemy the enemy.
This was stated during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the deputy head of the Popular Front faction, ex-commander of the Peacemaker battalion Andrei Teteruk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“While the military is holding the front in the East, politicians in Ukraine must have courage and rise from the political trench, not be cowards and not live with the thought of an agreement with the fifth column, and protect the country from the inside from revenge. Bullets don’t fly in the corridors of power, mortars don’t hit, tanks don’t shoot, so it’s worth plucking up the courage and, after five years from the beginning of the revolution of dignity, calling the enemy the enemy and decisively rejecting the threats of the Russian plan to seize Ukraine through an information hybrid war,” the deputy said.
“We must realize that if politicians do not do their job, it may happen that the Ukrainian soldier will not have a place to return to, to his Ukrainian Ukraine. You can’t be cowards, opportunists and collaborators when it comes to your native state!” – Teteruk added.
