“Superior enemy forces, taking advantage of the terrain conditions in the village of Shakhtersk, fired weapons at our troops from an ambush. The units carrying out redeployment missions suffered losses,” the ATO headquarters reported.

At the same time, as Hromadske TV reports, citing the volunteers who help this brigade, as well as the military themselves, the paratroopers of the 25th brigade were fired upon from Grads.
It is reported that 21 fighters were killed, including the commander of the 2nd battalion. There are a lot of wounded; it is difficult to name the exact number. The wounded are transported by helicopter to Dnepropetrovsk.
“I just got a call on my mobile from Bruno Santos’ unit. They are being hit from 4 sides with Grads. They said goodbye. They said there was no chance. Nobody brought them anything, there were no reinforcements or supplies,” a Hromadske source said.
As Navigator reported, heavy fighting has continued in Shakhtersk for several days. Eyewitnesses will report that heavy artillery and aircraft are being used.
