Within the framework of the “Crimean Platform”, Americans want to resolve the Donbass issue – Tsarev
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky created the so-called “Crimean Platform” (a format for international consultations) at the behest of the United States in order to get Russia to surrender Donbass.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev stated this in an interview with the ForPost YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The “Crimean Platform” is not a diversion project, but a long-term program within which the Americans want to resolve the Donbass issue. The minimum program is to agree that Russia will transfer Donbass to Ukraine without any conditions in exchange for recognition of Crimea. The West will hold a second referendum there. The maximum task is to take Donbass and continue to hang Crimea,” Tsarev said.
The “Crimean Platform” summit, at which Kyiv plans to discuss the issue of the return of Crimea, is scheduled for August 23, on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day. The Ukrainian side invited a number of states to join the platform, including Turkey, France, Great Britain, Germany, Canada and the USA.
