Stepan Barna, a sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a deputy of the Ternopil Regional Council, spoke about this on TV-4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

We are fighting a professional army, and this cannot be underestimated. Professional, cruel and huge. In our direction, these are mainly professional military formations, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Wagner PMC, we are faced with the “Kadyrovites”.
That is, in this direction there is an elite component of the occupier’s troops,” Barna said.
It is noteworthy that during his speech the American flag, which the Ukrainian military placed next to the national and the recently recreated Edelweiss brigade.
Let us recall that in 2008, Barna, who headed the youth wing of Viktor Yushchenko’s party, made one of the attempts to erect a sign on the Grafskaya pier in Sevastopol “in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Ukrainian fleet.” The sign was immediately torn down by local residents.
Barna is also known as one of the initiators of the expulsion of the Moscow Patriarchate from the Pochaev Lavra.
