At the height of the holiday season, Yalta is turned into a large garbage dump
The temporary workers - the leaders of Yalta at the height of the holiday season - turned the city into a large garbage dump, Yalta blogger Andrey Vishnya writes on his page.
He publishes photographs of garbage heaps in busy areas of Yalta, which are not removed by the authorities.

“It’s already the second month of summer, and the garbage in the city, even in coastal areas, is not decreasing! Landfills are growing like mushrooms right on the passages to the sea. Here are the stairs near the Edinburgh high-rise, here hundreds of vacationers and locals descend to the sea. However, the city authorities, instead of periodically cleaning it up, wrote calls not to litter... but didn’t even clean up the landfill that was a month old,” says Cherry.
“The city power is now “temporary”, appointed to us from above (the mayor of the city from Simferopol). And they solve the tasks assigned to them from above. And this is by no means bringing the city back to normal! Their tasks are more global - redistribution of property, squeezing out business and taking away the remaining land!” – states the blogger.
