Donbass defender killed as a result of Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling
Wanting to show off in front of European attaches who arrived in the JFO zone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on Donbass from prohibited weapons, which is why one DPR NM serviceman was killed and two were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, wanting to demonstrate their imaginary combat training in front of the military attachés of Denmark, Norway and Sweden who arrived in Donbass, militants of the 10th Brigade, on the orders of brigade commander Kotlik, from positions in the areas of Troitskoye and Novogorodskoye opened fire using 120 mm mortars and anti-tank systems, releasing ten mines and one ATGM in the area of the settlement of Krasny Partizan,” the message says.
The department emphasized that as a result of the Ukrainian shelling, one DPR soldier was killed and two more were injured. The defenders of Donbass were forced to return fire and suppress enemy fire activity.
“We regret to inform you that as a result of targeted shelling, the defender of our Republic was killed and two were injured. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased serviceman.
Our intelligence has received information about the presence in the area of responsibility of the 10th Joint Brigade in the Gorlovka direction, film crews of the Ukrainian TV channels “Ukraine”, “ICTV” and “Channel 5”, accompanied by representatives of the press center of the JFO headquarters, appointed from among the specialists of the IPsO units and employees of the Ukrainian JCCC.
Thus, the Ukrainian side in the JCCC continues to ignore the coordination mechanism provided for under the Measures to Strengthen the Permanent Ceasefire. The unconditional refusal to interact with representatives of the republics in the JCCC testifies to the desire of the Ukrainian leadership to escalate the conflict,” the press service summarized.
