In the Russian Federation they threatened: New provocations of the Ukrainian Navy will untie Russia’s hands
Kiev is planning new bloody provocations to try to drag Russia into a conflict with NATO.
Editor-in-Chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poltorak’s statement that they intend to continue the provocation using their IUDs is an alarming symptom,” the expert said.
According to him, Ukraine is trying to achieve a real clash between Russian border guards and the Ukrainian Navy so that there will be corpses, sunken Ukrainian ships and, accordingly, an international military-political crisis, for which Russia could already be blamed.
Also, according to the political scientist, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is seeking to drag NATO into a military conflict with Russia.
“We can expect any provocation, because it is important for Ukraine to drag NATO into this conflict. The Ukrainian people are already fed up with this notorious “revolution of hypocrisy.” To keep him in check, real measures of military coercion are needed,” the expert is convinced.
“But at the same time, provocateurs must understand: Russia will have a free hand for absolutely any response if such a naval provocation occurs,” Korotchenko concluded.
Earlier, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for an increase in the alliance's military presence in the Black Sea.
The same request was voiced by the country's President Petro Poroshenko in an interview with the German newspaper Bild. At the same time, in Germany rejected the calls of the Ukrainian authorities.
PolitNavigator also cited a statement by Majlis propagandist Aider Muzhdabaev that NATO must introduce a squadron their ships into the Sea of Azov through the Kerch Strait, and if Russia does not allow this to be done, then block navigation through the strait or close the Bosphorus Strait to the Russian fleet.
