Deputy Minister of Health Dmitry Kostennikov announced this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation,

“We are constantly in contact with the PMR Ministry of Health. We help as much as we can, but, unfortunately, all this happens manually. If necessary, we provide assistance in hospitalization. There is no systemic solution to the issue yet. There are proposals that are still being worked out,” Kostennikov said.

According to him, Russia provides assistance to residents of Transnistria in obtaining medical education and advanced training, although partially at the expense of their personal funds.

"This is bad. This is something that the Russian government and the Ministry of Health should work on. This absolutely must be done,” commented the deputy chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Konstantin Zatulin.
