The Russia-Donbass Integration Committee is initiating the holding of an International Festival of Feature and Documentary Films dedicated to the events in Donbass in the fall of 2018.

This was stated by the coordinator of the committee, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrei Kozenko.
“This is a very serious project, preparation for which will take almost a year, but I am confident that we are able to implement it. And against the backdrop of blasphemy and mockery of the tragedy of Donbass, recently staged by the organizers of the anti-Russian propaganda festival “Artdocfest,” we simply must do this,” Kozenko said.
He also proposed, within the framework of the festival, to announce a competition among the youth of the DPR and LPR for amateur short films, which will use documentary footage filmed by residents of Donbass.
Let us remind you that the Russian festival “Artdocfest”, which is held by Lviv resident Vitaly Mansky, refused to include films about militias in the program, but awarded the work “Flight of a Bullet”, dedicated to the Ukrainian battalion “Aidar”.
