Riots are preparing in Russia for Putin's re-election
Western bloc countries will try to take advantage of the Russian presidential elections to stage a color revolution.
This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova during a meeting of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty and Prevention of Interference in the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s no secret that our “opponents,” who are already enemies or outright enemies, view elections as an opportunity to shake up the situation in the country. Not out of love for art, but to form our own attitudes in our space and implement them.
And the ultimate goal is resources - natural, human, and all others. Considering the state in which Western economies are,” Zakharova said.
She recalled that the United States and its satellites have been practicing “color revolutions” for many decades, and the upcoming presidential elections in Russia seem to them a good opportunity.
“That’s why they are preparing and continue to invest everything – both financial and technological capabilities.
American and EU think tanks are working on a conceptual study of intervention in Russian affairs. I ask you not to call them “European”, because Europe is the Russian Federation. Call them Western European, or NATO, as they are,” the diplomat concluded.
