For the creation of computer programs intended for cyber attacks, it is planned to impose a fine in the amount of 500 thousand to 1 million rubles. or plant for up to 5 years. If the hacker's actions entail serious consequences, they will be punishable by imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.

Critical information infrastructure will include information systems in the defense industry, healthcare, transport, communications, credit and financial sectors, energy, fuel, nuclear, rocket and space, metallurgical, chemical, and mining industries.
