“In 2011 alone, our structures identified 4,5 million computer attacks on technical systems. Last year – more than 70 million. Most attacks are carried out from abroad,” Valeev said.
According to him, the country has a state system for detecting and suppressing computer attacks.
“According to specialists, our technical equipment and software are all domestically produced. Now we need to equip both government bodies and facilities in the most important areas of activity with this. There is a problem there. And computer attacks on facilities, for example, nuclear power, can have catastrophic consequences,” Valeev said.
