The Russian Military Historical Society demanded that the State Prosecutor's Office bring the scandalous opposition TV presenter Alexander Nevzorov to justice under the article “Rehabilitation of Nazism.”

The reason was his words spoken on the radio “Echo of Moscow”, where Nevzorov accused Hero of the Soviet Union Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya of carrying out criminal orders.
“In general, there was no merit. A fanatic carrying out a criminal order,” Nevzorov said.
By a criminal order, the TV presenter obviously understands the order of the Headquarters of the Supreme High Command No. 0428, in which Soviet saboteurs were given the task of “destroying and burning to the ground all populated areas in the rear of German troops at a distance of 40-60 km in depth from the front edge and 20-30 km to the right and to the left of the roads."
“Statements by Nevzorov A.G. about the hero of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya, about the significance of her feat, are presented in the said publication in a derogatory-aggressive form using offensive language, aimed at denying the feat of the hero of the Great Patriotic War (Z.A. Kosmodemyanskaya) and ultimately as a result - to diminish the memory of the Great Patriotic War, its events, participants, veterans and victims.
RVIO asks the Prosecutor General's Office to conduct an investigation into the distribution of A.G. Nevzorov. knowingly false information about the activities of the USSR during the Second World War, committed using the media and brought to criminal liability under paragraph 2 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Nevzorov Alexander Glebovich,” the statement says.
