According to him, Russia should pay attention to the fact that Ukraine still has the production capacity and radioactive waste to create such weapons.

Even if we assume that Ukraine will not be able to create a full-fledged nuclear device, then there is more than enough radioactive waste there. They can make a dirty atomic bomb and instead of a nuclear charge, there will be a warhead stuffed with waste from Ukrainian nuclear power plants. Operative-tactical charge carriers can be created on the basis of Yuzhmash. Of course, an intercontinental ballistic missile is beyond its capabilities, but Kyiv has all the capabilities to make a simple missile in order to hammer Donbass or, God forbid, threaten Russia,” Mironov said.
