Estonian spy convicted in Russia

The Moscow City Court sentenced Estonian businessman Raivo Susi to 12 years in a maximum security colony for espionage, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Vedomosti, the trial took place behind closed doors, and Susi’s case is classified as “top secret.”
According to the defense, the Estonian was charged with espionage in connection with events that took place in 2004-2007. Susi denies the accusations and called himself a hostage in relations between Russia and Estonia.
It is also reported that he is a co-owner of Laki Autos and Musket, which supply aircraft, as well as Aerohooldus OU, which repairs them.
