Vladimir Zelensky should not expect that his party will repeat the success that he himself demonstrated in the parliamentary elections, gaining more than 70%. “Servant of the People” is unlikely to get even 30%.
Russian political scientist and TV presenter Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About Zelensky’s prospects in parliament. Talk that Zelensky's 73% in the presidential elections could somehow turn into 73% in the parliamentary elections is absolute emptiness. In fact, this never happens anywhere, these percentages don’t flow that easily - the agenda is different, the situation is different. Therefore, he will have problems even getting 30 or 40%,” he noted.
“And he doesn’t have any party. Now they will sell the franchise, buy this, buy that. This is all ersatz, and will not lead to direct victory in the elections,” the expert concluded.
