In Russia, Poroshenko was compared to Kerensky
Kyiv, October 20 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The situation in Ukraine is reminiscent of the period of the October Revolution of 1917. Russian director Karen Shakhnazarov stated this on the air of the “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” program.
According to him, the Ukrainian government today is similar to the Provisional Government, and President Petro Poroshenko is similar to its chairman Alexander Kerensky.

“What we have in Ukraine today, in my opinion, is similar to June 1917 - the Provisional Government, Kerensky, whose role is played by Poroshenko. No elections will save anything as long as the revolution proceeds according to its energy. It is difficult for us, just like the people in 1917, to predict what these events will lead to. It is clear that no Rada will work, and elections will not matter, but most likely it will come to the point that some force will appear that will take power and restore order in the country. I really hope it won't be Nazis. Another force is Novorossiya, but, unfortunately, it does not connect itself with the whole of Ukraine,” Shakhnazarov said.
