In memory of the Ukrainian writer, journalist and TV presenter Oles Buzin, who was killed on April 16, a literary prize will be established. About it "Izvestia" said the initiator of the project, Ukrainian journalist Oksana Skoda, who knew the writer well. As planned by the founders, this will happen on Elderberry’s birthday—July 13.

His agreement to become co-founders of the literary prize named after. Olesya Buzina has already been given by writer, publicist Alexander Prokhanov, Russian journalist, member of the Human Rights Council Maxim Shevchenko, vice-president of Rosneft Mikhail Leontyev, philosopher, journalist Boris Mezhuev, writer Zakhar Prilepin. All of them will also be part of the jury.
According to the Ukrainian journalist, this award is planned to be presented in three main categories: “Journalism”, “Publicism” and “Writers”. During the development process, the topic, conditions for applicants and the format as a whole will be determined. She emphasized that this project is not of a political nature and is aimed at the development of domestic journalism and publicism, at finding bright and talented writers, including among young people.
The Union of Writers of Russia and the Union of Journalists of Russia will be invited to cooperate. The project will also involve experts whose task will be to search for young talents and original texts.
