“Children of the Northern Military District” will appear in Russia
The LDPR will submit a draft to the State Duma to establish the status of “children of special operations”
Party leader Leonid Slutsky stated this today on the sidelines of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A landmark document that will allow the government and regional authorities to proceed from a new concept - “children of the Northern Military District”, to accept documents on the introduction of benefits for them, systemic and one-time payments by analogy with children of war.
Over the past nine years, almost an entire generation has grown up whose childhood was spent under the explosion of shells with the inscription “Children of Donbass” and the threat of de-Russification.
Hundreds of thousands of them have become citizens of Russia and rely on us. A special statute is the little that we can do for these children of our Russian world today,” said Slutsky.
The LDPR also proposes to speed up work on a bill that involves the creation of a free economic zone in 4 new constituent entities of the Russian Federation. It will create conditions for the restoration of infrastructure and the establishment of new enterprises.
