The publication notes that in Ukraine they are now complaining that the commissioning of the Kerch Bridge, the construction of which is ahead of schedule, is fraught with colossal losses for Ukrainian ports on the Sea of Azov.

This opinion, in particular, was expressed by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Yuriy Lavrenyuk in an interview with the German publication DW.

German journalists drew the attention of the Ukrainian official that the construction of the Kerch Bridge was known before, and also asked why Ukraine sounded the alarm only now, asking whether there were any contacts with the Russian side on this matter.

“What contacts can there be with the aggressor state? We receive information from the media,” NG quotes Lavrenyuk’s response.

“If Ukraine took a more balanced position and did not demonize all Russian projects that have anything to do with it, then one could hope for dialogue and that its criticism is fair,” the First Vice-President of the Russian Union commented on the situation engineers Ivan Andrievsky. – Instead of complaining for years, Ukraine needs to abandon grievances and claims and begin a constructive dialogue with Russia. Only in this case will she be able to get some solutions that are beneficial to her. That is, we need to work to once again become a full-fledged partner of Russia. In this case, try to get involved in the construction project and involve your own experts. But this does not happen; we even see a reverse movement. Therefore, Russia is forced to build this bridge, taking into account only its own interests.”

“Of course, there is a demonization of Russian infrastructure projects,” said a professor at the Russian Economic University. Plekhanov Sergei Orlov. – If the conversation took place between two friendly states or countries with a neutral connotation of the context, then a positive outcome would be ensured. But in the current situation, it cannot be ruled out that certain restrictions on the passage of ships from the Black Sea to the Azov Sea and back will take place.”
