This opinion was expressed in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets by the General Director of the Center for Political Technologies, Igor Bunin, answering the question whether the new leader, who may replace Kasyanov, will be able to revive PARNAS.
“There is no such chance,” the political scientist is convinced. – Every party has a history, PARNAS has a sad one: constant conflicts, fault lines, sometimes Navalny is with them, sometimes he’s no longer with them. Sometimes they are with “Yabloko”, sometimes not with “Yabloko”... A bad aura has accumulated. But the most important thing is that the proportion of people who are ready to go to the end in the fight against Putin is small and declining. I estimate it at 2-3% maximum. And it was precisely this kind of “fight to the end” that was laid in the foundation of PARNAS.”
