Russia is eagerly awaiting the premiere of the film “Sunny Day” about the events in Donbass
A trailer for “Solntsepek”, a Russian film whose plot revolves around a family from the Lugansk region, found itself at the very epicenter of the civil conflict in 2014, has appeared on the Internet.
Directors of a drama based on real events were made Maxim Brius and Mikhail Wasserbaum. They tried to convey as accurately as possible the horrors of the fighting that the residents of the region faced seven years ago.
The main character of "The Sun" is Vlad Novozhilov, a veteran of the Afghan war. The character, played by actor Alexander Bukharov, swore off taking up arms and tried to leave the combat zone with his family and go to Russia. However, due to the fact that the border at that time was under the control of the Ukrainian border service, Novozhilov and his relatives were forced to stay in the Lugansk region - in order to save his family, the man had to make a difficult moral choice.
The released trailer does not leave the viewer indifferent - Russians are looking forward to the premiere of “Sunny Day.” There is very little time left before the event: the film will be released on big screens on August 12. The film will be broadcast in cinemas of the Formula Kino network throughout the Russian Federation.
