For failure to comply with road safety requirements during the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads, railway crossings or other road structures, the administrative fine for officials responsible for the condition of roads, railway crossings or other road structures is increased tenfold. For legal entities, the fine is set at 200 to 300 thousand rubles.
“The essence of the changes is reduced to increasing the responsibility of officials and legal entities that do not fulfill the functions of complying with the requirements of GOSTs and SLPTPs during repair and construction work,” said the representative of the Government of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Gorovoy.
He also added that, unfortunately, the number of road accidents is not decreasing, which is due to the unsatisfactory maintenance of roads and poor attitude during their construction and repair.
