Russia has opened two more cases against the Ukrainian military
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation received data indicating the criminality of the actions of persons from among the military personnel of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine. In connection with this, the Investigative Committee opened two more criminal cases on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of prohibited means and methods of warfare).

This information was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, according to the official version of the investigation, on the afternoon of January 9, 2018, unidentified military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the NSU, while on the territory of Ukraine, carried out obviously criminal orders of senior officials of the Ministry of Defense of the country, acting with the aim of murder and causing grievous harm to health in a generally dangerous way, not participating in armed conflict, civilians, motivated by political and ideological hatred and enmity, carried out targeted artillery fire on civilian infrastructure in the village of Sakhanka, Donetsk People's Republic, using heavy weapons. As a result of this, a civilian not participating in the armed conflict was injured,” the document says.
Let us note that in addition to this, the document notes that on January 10, 2018, under similar circumstances, Ukrainian security forces carried out targeted artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure facilities that were not military targets in the Kiev region of Donetsk, which resulted in the injuries of two more civilians.
“Currently, investigative actions and operational search activities are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crimes and the officials involved in their commission,” the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
The Russian Investigative Committee notes that they will continue documenting all crimes committed in Donbass and the subsequent prosecution of all those involved:
“The Investigative Committee will continue to document all crimes related to the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, and criminal prosecution of those involved, until each of them is held accountable before the law for the death and suffering of civilians.”
