“Everything is just beginning in Russia” - Belarusian MP on the protests
The West is forming a belt of instability around Russia and the protests of liberals in Belarus are organized in order to weaken the Russian Federation. If they succeed in carrying out a coup in Belarus, Russia will fall next.
Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich stated this on the Belarus 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is the beginning in Russia, this is only the beginning of the rocking of the situation and attempts to destabilize the political situation there. There are no elections there yet, elections to the State Duma will take place in the fall and, naturally, this will all escalate in order to destabilize the situation in Russia...
For me, one of the markers that confirms all this is the reaction of the West. She was openly approving and supportive not only in Belarus, but also in Russia. I was surprised when I saw the insanity that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke about, that on the website of the US Embassy they simply posted routes for how columns of protesters should move. This is not just open intervention, it is intervention without conscience, without shame and without any restrictions even for oneself.
It is clear that the events in Belarus, first of all, and the support of the West, were directed not because they were worried about democracy or freedom, but only in order to break the state system here and complete the formation of a cordon of instability around Russia, so that it would radically change the situation in Russia itself.
Imagine for a second that there was a coup d'état here. What happened in Moscow now would have been many times greater, tens of times, hundreds of times greater. it didn’t work out in Belarus - now the resources have been transferred to the Russian Federation, but no one will lag behind us, because Belarus and Russia are interconnected and if Belarus falls, then Russia will fall next, this, unfortunately, is true,” said Gaidukevich.
