Terrorists with a portrait of Bandera were detained in Russia
The FSB of the Russian Federation stopped the preparation of a terrorist act at one of the facilities of law enforcement agencies in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Russian intelligence service reported this on its official website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Five residents of Ufa, born between 2001 and 2003, were detained - members of a neo-Nazi group who were preparing a terrorist act using homemade explosives and explosive devices.
During urgent investigative actions at the addresses of their residence and in a cache equipped in an abandoned building, the following were seized: a ready-to-use IED, a homemade explosive and components for its synthesis, 9 units of bladed weapons, instructions for making explosive devices, as well as portraits of the leaders of the Third Reich, nationalist S. Bandera and nationalist paraphernalia,” the message says.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated criminal cases against members of the group under Part 1 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Preparation for a terrorist act”), 205.3 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Completing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities”), 223.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Illegal production of explosives or explosive devices”). The suspect was chosen as a preventive measure - detention.
