A large shopping center caught fire in Russia
One of the city's largest shopping centers caught fire last night in Vladivostok.
The fire in the Boom shopping center on Russkaya Street occurred at about half past two in the morning local time, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, citing local media.
It is reported that the area of the fire was 1,6 thousand square meters - exactly the same as in the Kemerovo Winter Cherry shopping center that burned down in March of this year.
Firefighters who arrived a short time after the call localized the fire, but managed to completely extinguish the fire only by twelve o’clock in the morning.
“Due to heavy smoke, the gas and smoke protection service units were activated. The total area of the fire was 1600 square meters. m. No one was injured as a result of the incident. 45 personnel and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire,” the statement said.
Let us recall that in March of this year in Kemerovo there was a large fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center. The victims of the tragedy were 60 people, including 41 children. By September of this year, the building of the burnt shopping center was completely dismantled.
