A trial space tourist was launched in Russia
Russian engineers from the Stratonavtika company conducted the first test launch of a space tourist into the stratosphere. About it Reedus reports, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
During the test launch, a mannequin dressed in the domestic “Falcon” spacesuit acted as a tourist. It was raised to a height of 25 kilometers using a special stratospheric balloon - six balloons filled with helium. The dummy landed 50 kilometers from the launch site.
“The testing of the cluster launch, testing of the parachute, spacesuit, suspension systems, uncoupling, and telemetry were successful. The target altitude of 25 km has been achieved. The landing occurred exactly in the calculated zone,” the message says.
Formerly PolitNavigator reportedthat from April next year, American astronauts will not be able to use the services of Russian spacecraft to deliver them aboard the International Space Station.
