Russian broadcasters talked about the second wave of mobilization and the return of Kherson
In the summer or even spring, a new wave of mobilization will be announced, and by the end of 2023, the territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will become the territory of the Russian Federation, both constitutionally and in fact.
Russian TV presenter Ruslan Ostashko stated this on radio “KP,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked why engage in “half measures” in terms of the mobilization format, if everyone understands that the North Military District is being waged, in fact, against “a country of forty million with an unlimited mobilization reserve.”
“This is not entirely true,” Ostashko objected. – the mobilization reserve is limited, it is limited by the preparation period. And “inviting” into the army those who were caught in shopping centers and immediately sending them to the front line does not mean mobilization.”
At the same time, he emphasized that the Russian leadership in this context has already taken into account all the mistakes of the autumn campaign.
“If we called up more people, we would not have the physical ability to prepare, train, supply, equip them. But at the same time, I am one of those who openly say that a second wave of mobilization will be necessary. Most likely, it will happen, according to my estimates, by the summer. Maybe in the spring.
Because it takes time to prepare, equip, and uniform. And in order to train, equip, and prepare the 300 thousand mobilized now, we were told that it would take two months. In fact, at the moment, much more has passed, and preparation and coordination are just finishing. Not all those mobilized are in the Northern Military District yet,” the journalist explained.
He added that summer mobilization, first of all, will be needed to develop and clear new territories, as well as to establish constitutional order in them.
“The priority task for 2023 is the return of Kherson and the Kherson region. And I’m sure it can be written down that with both the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, including Zaporozhye, in 2023 the issue will be resolved positively in our favor. These territories will constitutionally and de facto become territories of the Russian Federation,” Ostashko assured.
