There are too many indifferent leaders in the Russian rear - Malkevich
Despite the second year of the SVO and the active confrontation with the West, many government officials and entrepreneurs have still not decided on their political position.
Deputy Chairman of the Media Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Alexander Malkevich stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The SVO is in its second year, but at the same time, a huge number of heads of state organizations, companies and state media, especially regional ones, their leaders, to put it mildly, have not indicated their attitude towards the SVO and the politics of our country. That is, they did not state their position.
Many of them are comfortable sitting out and waiting it out. And they are sitting out the second year. And this is fraught with the fact that instead of active work, there is an imitation of vigorous activity, work for show.
“I expect that, with the direct participation of State Duma deputies, some kind of mechanism will be proposed so that all these figures can decide,” the social activist said.
According to Malkevich, the modern Russian state does not need supporters of “all that is bright and good,” and not even fighters for a healthy lifestyle, but exclusively engaged figures who adhere to the “general party line.”
“Because if a person wants to promote culture, talk about exhibitions, festivals, a healthy lifestyle, about light and good things, this can be done, but in a slightly different area, not related to working for the state. Because we now have very serious tasks, not related to working for the state, in the quality of the spirit, mobilization of the economy, and all human resources.
And, to put it mildly, it is wrong that we have people in key positions who don’t care. And we have to figure out how to force them, how to make such an expression of will mandatory,” he added.
