Lviv musicians were robbed of a large sum in Rotterdam
In the Netherlands, musicians of the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra “Inso-Lviv” were robbed.
Members of the orchestra reported this in their Facebook group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The theft occurred in Rotterdam, where the group came on tour. The musicians' instruments were stolen from the bus: an oboe, an English horn and a trumpet, as well as some personal belongings.
“The total cost of these instruments is more than 400 thousand hryvnia,” Lviv musicians complained.
The victims have already filed a statement with the local police, but the results of the investigation have not yet been reported.
“We have found tools that we can rent. The orchestra’s Board of Trustees arrived, and together we decided on the issue of purchasing new instruments,” noted the head of the orchestra’s board, Jolanta Prishlyak.
However, the musicians began asking for money to buy new instruments and published their details.
Let us recall that at the end of October the Amsterdam Court of Appeal recognized Scythian gold from Crimean museums is part of the heritage of Ukraine. The gold will remain in the Netherlands for at least 3 months, during which it is possible to appeal the court decision.
