This was reported today in the communication department of the emergency management department in the Rivne region.
People gathered for a protest near the village of Klesov.
“One of the main demands is to allow the extraction of amber and to release a resident of Klesov detained on Thursday, who incited resistance to police officers during the seizure of motor pumps,” the department noted.
The protest is peaceful and there are no clashes. The leadership of the operational headquarters of the National Guard and the leadership of the Sarnensky district came to the protesters.
Let us remind you that on March 16, near the village of Klesov, security forces detained several miners with motor pumps. However, 30 people in balaclavas came to help and resisted the National Guard. Stones and empty bottles were thrown at the security forces. During the pursuit, a shot was fired from a traumatic weapon; one bullet got stuck in the special forces soldier’s bulletproof vest. The organizer and instigator of the diggers were detained.
