Rivne, November 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Rivne region, in the village of Badovka, the communities of the UOC-MP and the “autocephalous” agreed to seal the church and hand over the keys to the temple to the village mayor until a decision is made in court as to who will own the church.

Representatives of the UOC of the Kyiv Patriarchate expressed a desire for the service in the church to be conducted in Ukrainian, and the temple to be transferred under the Kiev Patriarchate, Erve reports. Parishioners of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate did not agree with this decision. According to them, the construction of the church became possible only thanks to their participation, so no one is going to give the temple to anyone.
As a result, a compromise decision was made - to seal the temple, and the keys to it were also sealed and handed over to the village mayor for safekeeping.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Metropolitan Bartholomew of Rivne and Ostrog (UOC MP) withdrew his signature on the Memorandum, which spoke of the need to create a Church independent of Moscow, and condemned the actions of Russia, which is called the aggressor for the events in Donbass and Crimea. According to him, by signing this document, he hoped for peace, but representatives of the UOC-KP continued to seize churches.
