Rivne, May 15 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Rivne region, about 300 people, including representatives of the Right Sector and public activists of Automaidan, blocked the Kyiv-Chop highway.

As reported by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Rivne region, in the morning they came to the building of the regional Department of Internal Affairs demanding the resignation of the newly appointed head of the regional police.
“At first, in the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, activists demanded that Nikolai Shchiruk write a resignation report. But since this did not happen, the protesters headed to the Kyiv-Chop highway and blocked traffic on it. Now activists are blocking traffic and saying that they will not unblock it until Shchiruk resigns,” the Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
According to law enforcement officials, activists only allow vehicles with children or cars with people going to a funeral through. Other cars are not allowed through.
