Activists took literature, newspapers from the party office, including those of ideological opponents of the Communist Party of Ukraine - VO Svoboda, portraits and busts of Lenin and Stalin, the ZIK news agency reports.

As the leaders of this action assured, they will transfer the portraits and busts to the museum. Literature and printed periodicals were immediately burned in the courtyard of the house. The reason for their action is allegedly that the communists support “separatist actions” in the south-eastern regions.

The people who were in the office did not offer resistance and left the premises, although women from both camps nevertheless entered into a fierce altercation, but the conflict did not escalate into a physical confrontation.

The premises were sealed and signs were hung indicating that it was “under the protection of the Right Sector.”

The first secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, Alexander Voznyuk, said that he regards such actions as terrorism.

“I assess these actions as terrorism, as a raider seizure of premises that are privately owned with all the ensuing conclusions. Actions will be adequate,” he threatened.

As Navigator reported, on the night of April 9-10 in Kyiv, the central office of the Communist Party in Podol was burned, which was captured by Ukrainian nationalists during the winter revolution and held all this time. Petro Symonenko said that until the culprits are found, communist deputies will not vote in the Verkhovna Rada.
