“Yesterday, at about 23.00, our AM crew noticed a dark-colored Mercedes that drove through a red light and continued driving under the “No Entry” sign in order to check the driver was feeling well and whether he was intoxicated,” Automaidan resident Sergei Zeynalov wrote on his Facebook page.
“Our AM crew waited until the driver of the Mercedes stopped at red and decided to approach the car, but before they even had time to introduce themselves, they opened fire from a firearm from the driver’s seat. The driver of the crew, after seeing someone from a Mercedes aiming at him at the windshield of the car, decided to go for a ram, this scared the hooligan off, and he continued driving. The offender himself, after a chase through the city streets, drove into the territory of the city police department on Pushkin, got out of the car and again aimed the weapon at the AM in front of the police officers, but did not open fire.”
According to the publication “ChaRivne”, the AutoMaidanov team found out that the driver was drunk and was also a retired employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
