“The police established that a fire occurred in a residential building and a Mercedes-Benz GL500 car, which belong to a 40-year-old resident. Rescuers extinguished the fire. The car was completely destroyed by fire; walls and doors were damaged in the house where only the owner was,” the report says.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire is arson.
According to local media, Rivne City Council deputy Alexander Babat lives at the address where the fire occurred.

The body of a missing builder was found in a forest near the village of Alexandria, Rivne region, on December 14 last year. The man worked at a construction site on Kievskaya Street in Rivne. The deputy was informed of suspicion of concealing a serious crime. However, he denies his guilt,” writes the local publication “ChaRivne.info”.
