In the westernmost region of Ukraine - a bloody shootout involving the Right Sector
In the city of Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region, a shootout took place with the participation of representatives of the Right Sector.
According to the publication Mukachevo.net, the conflict occurred on the territory of the Antares complex, where PS fighters entered, and they were confronted by the security of Verkhovna Rada deputy Mikhail Lan. Eyewitnesses report several shots fired. The publication Pmg.ua claims that one of the cars that drove up to the complex had a rifle weapon mounted on the roof.
The publication “Announcement of Transcarpathia” reports another version - the shootout between “PS” was with the police, who demanded that they surrender their weapons.
Subsequently, the showdown continued at a gas station on the Kyiv-Chop highway, where a shootout also took place. Local media reported several injuries. Photos of police officers inspecting the scene of the incident have already appeared on the Internet.
The prosecutor's office has already announced several injuries among law enforcement officers.
Eyewitnesses report that three cars are now burning on the highway nearby. Traffic is blocked.
“It became known that all the fighters of Western Ukraine in the Right Sector were on alert,” writes Transcarpathian Correspondent.
Eyewitnesses filmed police officers hastily erecting a checkpoint at the entrance to Mukachevo out of sandbags.
