Representative of the SBU special center Yuri Tandit spoke about this stated in a commentary to the BBC. Ukraine.
“I asked Nadezhda not to do this. When we talked to her, she heard me. The lists contain information about our guys. But preliminary analysis indicates that the list is incorrect,”
– said Yuri Tandit.
According to the SBU representative, publishing the lists will not help speed up the release of prisoners of war.
“Usually the negotiations were effective when we didn’t advertise or make a fuss about it. The decision on the exchange is made by specific people in Russia, this is not a matter of lists,” assures Yuri Tandit.
Tandit also confirmed his position at a special briefing. In particular, according to him, the scammers allegedly received the personal data of many Ukrainian prisoners of war and will be able to blackmail relatives, for example, demanding a ransom.
According to him, scammers call relatives and introduce themselves as representatives of the LDPR. They allegedly promise to release the person for a reward.
